| Treating many of the main male medical conditions |
While the life expectancy gap between men and women has reduced, it is no secret that men still need to pay more attention to their well-being. Several things work against males. They tend to smoke and drink more than women. They do not seek medical help as often as females. Some males work too much, which can add to strain. There are also illnesses that only affect males, such as prostate cancer and low testosterone. One of the common problems men face is excessive loss of hair. It can be caused by heredity, a medical condition or even drugs. Though undue hair loss is a cosmetic problem, it may result in low self-esteem and lack of confidence, if untreated. PROPECIA (Finasterine 5mg) is one the most powerful treatment therapies sanctioned by FDA. It slows down the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which diminishes hair follicles on the scalp, resulting in thinner, fuzzier growth. Erectile dysfunction affects millions of males around the world. Since the sexual disorder is so vexing, many men feel powerless to deal with it. It is characteristic of males who have to deal with ED to feel anxious, guilty and depressed. ED is brought on by vascular disorders, neurological and penile abnormalities, hormonal imbalances and stress. There are many ways to treat male impotence expeditiously, including drugs, vacuum therapy, penile injections, urethral pellets, penile implants. The most efficacious drugs are sildenafil (Viagra), vardenafil (Levitra) and tadalafil (Cialis) approved by the FDA. Men also fall ill with bacterial infections. Antibiotics are the most efficient medications that fight bacterial infections. If taken as prescribed, antibiotics can save lives. They either kill off microorganisms completely or impede their multiplication. A broad-spectrum antibiotic can be administered to treat a great range of infections, i.e. Amoxil (cheap Amoxicillin) or Zithromax (Azithromycin 250mg). A narrow-minded-spectrum antibiotic is only efficacious against several types of microorganisms. There are antibiotics that fight off aerobic bacteria, while others work against anaerobic microbes. Aerobic bacteria need oxygen, whereas anaerobic bacteria do not. Antibiotics may be given in advance, to prevent an infection, as might be the case prior to operation. This is called 'prophylactic' administration of antibiotics. They are usually used before bowel and orthopaedic operation. Many of the major health risks that men face - prostate cancer or vascular disorders - can be prevented and treated with early diagnosis.
